I felt better after a couple of weeks' use. But what you get is a serious and hefty unit (metal, not gimcrack plastic) that does exactly what it says on the tin: its bulbs produce UVB light that encourages vitamin D production (about 2,300 IUs for each 5-minute session) and doesn't tan or burn (if you follow the instructions) you. I ordered it from the USA with delivery to the UK delivery charges plus duties took the total price to about £800. It has to be admitted that the Vitamin D lamp is expensive. Everyone is tremendously friendly and helpful. They went on in the same vein after I'd bought the lamp. It started before I bought their Vitamin D lamp I had some questions to ask, and they responded the next day and (a rarity nowadays) actually gave relevant replies to every question. I can't fault the customer service provided by this company it's been exemplary in every way. Excellent customer service - Vitamin D on tap
